I was working with one of my kindergarteners today. He was doing a work sheet where he had identify what a picture was, and if it has the x sound, he was supposed to color it. We went through xray, box, ax, and six, and we come to the picture of the ox. I asked him what it was and he said "I don't know" so I told him "this is an ox."
He said "no it's not" and I said, "Yes it is, this is an ox."
At that he told me "No, you're saying it wrong, it's cow!"
LOL!
