Sunshine makes me happy, but then again, so does snow.

Well, I suppose I am due for an update. Right now I am in Santa Clara, CA (San Jose, too) at the Hilton Inn (ooh la la, God Bless Priceline.com).  I saw New Moon tonight, and though I have the regular complaints people who read books before they see the movies have, I thought it was actually pretty decent, which I thought was hilarious considering everyone else I know seemed to hate it. It was okay.  I don't think they will ever capture the true dynamics of Edward and Bella's relationship, but oh well, right?
After I saw it though, I kind of regretted it a little because I remember how I felt after reading the book, and i don't want to open up that can of worms again.  Well, too late.

Anyway. Things have been going well. My tour in the Northwest with Camfel Productions is coming to an end, so my tour partner, Michelle, and I are heading back to the Los Angeles where the office is until the company makes a final decision on what they are going to do with us.  I would love to say what they're considering, but since it's still up in the air, I wont.  I am pretty sure though, that I will tour the midwest next semester, and that my new partner will be Katey. :-)  The tour will start later though, like January 25th or 26th, so i will have an extended break. Yay!

So... November 18 was my older brother's Birthday (Josh). He turned twenty-five. November 18 also happened to be the day my nephew Dominic was born! This is Eric's son. (Paternity test pending?)

In other news I've had another dream about my cat that dissappeared back in July. I dreampt that my mom found her in Iowa and brought her home, but then she got out of the car and disappeared again. It made me sad. I cried and the whole day I felt depressed.

I love moments by myself where I can sit and be quiet. Maybe I'll take some time to be still and know that God is God tomorrow (or today, since it's after 1am here)

That's all for now.

Musings

I had one of those dreams last night that was soooooooooooo good. It was better than reality. It was one of those dreams that when you wake up and realize it wasn't really happening you're dissapointed. It was one of those dreams that you hope and pray it does happen someday in real life. *sigh*

Anyway, my job interview was cancelled last Friday. School was closed.
I was called into to sub today for an afternoon kindergarten. I had to change diapers on five and six year olds. But it was a good day. I love this age group.

My cousins wife said that when her daughters go to preschool she wants to send them where I am because I work so well with kids, especially that age group, and both of her girls love me already. I just smiled.

One thing that makes me feel awful inside is that when I'm subbing at the special needs school, every preschool teacher expressed irritation and dislike toward their students. Last week when I was subbing for a preschool class room, it was a bit of a rough day for the kids. They were acting out and being testy. The teacher said (about me) "she'll never come back after today", and I replied that I would gladly come back any time, but I don't think the teacher believed me.

I hope that if I can get the job at the elementary school they will put me with preschool and kindergarten age. Those kids need to be loved. :-)

So many...

Emotional highs and lows. Agitation, pfft. Why? I've been feeling agitated since about... 2pm I think. I asked God why I am feeling agitated and what to do about it. Well, now I know. I'm agitated because my heart wants something and doesn't want something... And I am powerless either way. What did God tell me to do about it? 1st Peter 5:7.
duh! Well, God, its in your hands, I trust you. Romans 8:28.

You know... I was having a good dream last night but it turned into a bad dream. I woke up crying, I don't cry easily. Stupid dream...

I'm tired. I feel worn out... and cold. I can't seem to warm up or stay warm. That's unusual for me.

I sat out and watched the stars tonight (which didn't help me warm up at all), I saw ten satellites and two shooting stars. It was the first time in my life that I've ever seen a shooting star and I saw two of them. They were God kisses.

I found this on youtube and I thought it was fantastic. its a monologue about the woman at the well, what she would say to Jesus.

The power of the subconscious mind, and... what?

I had a dream last night that I was getting married. Not that I was planning to, but that I was actually in the process of getting married. I don't remember there being words, or sounds, just images and the way I felt. I don't know who the groom was. I mean, I'm sure I knew him in the dream, but in real life, I don't know the person. At least I don't think I do. His face is imprinted in my mind, yet I can't recall it. It's kind of like... I don't think I could clearly explain what he looks like to you, but I'd know him if I saw him. He was also a little chunky (but not fat) and he was older than me. I get that distinct impression that he was definitely older, like the age difference between me and Josh (the Youth Minister, not my brother).

But the strangest part of this dream... I was marrying him, and I loved him and he made me happy... but at the same time, he wasn't 'the one', he was the one I settled for.

My subconscience is writing soap operas while I dream.

So check out what I caught my cat doing.
Poor fishy.
